Property in detail
Although the winery was closed following the 2015 season, it remains a viable operation and is being offered with a full complement of equipment. Extensively improved, the winery includes a 10,000 square foot steel frame winery building and warehouse, a workshop with a caretakers suite, and the winery Bistro that houses the tasting room, restaurant and retail operations.
A wide range of alternative agricultural, and agriculture related tourism uses are possible for this property outside of the current winery operation. Additionally, this property would also be ideally suited for a large recreational retreat or hobby farm if a commercial operation is outside the interest of new owners.
The Gulf Islands are unique in many different ways. Situated within a unique micro climate that is substantially warmer and drier than the balance of Coastal British Columbia, the Gulf Islands are a popular region for small scale agricultural, tourism, retirement and home based businesses.
