Over 1,000 feet long with a light-house on one tip, Fane Island has two breathtaking house-sites. One is its center on a 25’ foot outcropping with 360 degree views guarded by a 900 year old fir. The other overlooks the masterfully built, inimitable all-weather harbor surrounded by giant ancient firs, arbutus, and Gerry Oaks . With its massive rock bluffs, small meadows of wild flowers (the locals call it Flower Island) and two private beaches, it is a naturally landscaped paradise.
The small cabin with kitchen and sleeping loft is ideal while you build your dream house. The septic field is in, as is the concrete foundation for a boathouse with guest-house above. It is stone faced to blend in with the surroundings.
