Located on the north side of popular Silva Bay and immediately adjacent to Gabriola Island, Lily Island is an absolute gem that must be seen. One of the group of islands known as the Flat Top Islands, Lily offers a beautiful, park-like setting and numerous excellent, level building sites. Only a short 5 min boat ride from the Silva Bay Marina, Lily is one of the most accessible private gulf islands. Daily scheduled float plane service is available between Silva Bay and Vancouver Airport's South Terminal.
Lily Island offers a mature coastal forest, beautiful sandstone benches and one of the nicest oyster beds in the Gulf Islands. A separate islet offers extra space and a very special Happy Hour spot overlooking the busy bay in the distance. The islet was part of the original Crown Grant and may be part of the deeded land.
The area between the island and Gabriola offers perfect warm water swimming in the summer and excellent opportunities to build and a well protected dock.
