Corbett Lake Lodge is an historic fly-fishing lodge and Country Inn located in the heart of BC’s beautiful ranching country. Less than a 3-hour drive from Vancouver, the area is a fly-fisher’s paradise. Relative to its size, this region is unsurpassed in British Columbia for its sports fishery, and close to 50 percent of the province’s total freshwater sport fishing occurs in the Thompson-Nicola region.

Corbett Lake is one of British Columbia's finest private freshwater trout fisheries, accessed exclusively by guests of the Corbett Lake Lodge, and the fishing is pretty amazing. The lake is regularly stocked with 3000 trout ranging from 2.5 to 6 pounds, and there are almost 300 rainbow trout in the lake that are over 12 pounds. A prize 16-pound rainbow trout was recently landed by one of the Lodge’s very lucky guests.

Surrounded by rolling grassland, the Lodge has been operated by Peter McVey for over 30 years. Well known among fly fishing aficionados, the Lodge has been as famous for Peter’s gourmet cooking and custom made split cane fly rods, as it is for its trophy fish. Although Corbett Lake Lodge has been historically operated as a resort, to many of its repeat guests it is more like a private retreat.

Corbett Lake is approximately 70 acres in size, and the lands comprising the Corbett Lake Lodge total about 305 acres.
